What it means if you rent in Atlanta

Atlanta's licensed rentals are spread across neighborhoods rather than packed into one tourist district, so guests choose by neighborhood: near the BeltLine, the stadiums, the airport or a college. A site that says where you are, and what is near, answers the question they are searching.

Turn a permit into bookings you keep

A permit lets you rent. Guests still have to find you, and every booking that comes through Airbnb or Vrbo pays the platform's fee. Cavmir builds websites for short-term rentals, including in Atlanta: a site in your own brand that ranks for the searches guests make, with live direct booking from your PMS or a button that sends guests to your listing.

Method

How this report was made

Source
Compiled by Cavmir from the public permit register:
Date range
Licenses with an issued status on the city's register on October 23, 2026 (1,549).
What we counted
Each issued license counts once, by the ZIP code the register gives. 11 records without a usable ZIP code count in the total only.
Limits
The layer has no issue dates, so this report shows the register as it stands, not its history.
Privacy
This report publishes totals only. No owner name, street address or map location from the register appears on this page or in the download.
