Trade secrets, written down.
After a decade of launches across 100+ markets, we are publishing the formulas we use with our own clients. No fluff, no theory — operator manuals you can apply tonight.
What these manuals cover
The guides are the longest-form thing Cavmir publishes: complete operator manuals, not blog posts. Where the blog explores one idea at a time — a pricing tactic, a market report, a photography argument — a guide walks a whole job from start to finish, in order, with the checklists we actually run on paying clients. They are written to be executed, not skimmed: open one on a laptop, work through it over a weekend, and the property should be measurably different on Monday.
Who are they for? New hosts staging a first listing, experienced operators tightening a portfolio that has drifted, and real-estate agents adding short-term-rental services for their clients — the manuals assume you are hands-on and want the reasoning behind each step, not just the checklist. What they are not is generic vacation-rental-marketing advice rewritten from other people's blogs. Every step traces back to a real launch, which is also why the shelf stays short: we would rather publish three manuals we would stake a client result on than thirty we scraped together.
The material comes from launches, not theory. The flagship launch manual covers the pre-listing work — positioning, photography direction, amenity audits, the pricing curve — and then the window that matters most: the first fourteen days, when the platform algorithms decide what your listing is worth and every early review lands with outsized weight. Guides in progress extend the shelf to direct booking and review systems, and each ships with a downloadable, branded PDF in four languages, free, no email gate.
Two honest notes on how to use them. First, do the steps in order — the sequence is the method, and skipping to the pricing chapter before the photography chapter is how listings end up optimized into mediocrity. Second, pair the manual with the tools it references as you go: the listing grader to benchmark where you are before you start, and the ROI calculator when a guide asks you to make a spending decision. If you would rather have the team that wrote the manual simply do the work, that is the Cavmir 12-step system — same playbook, our hands.

How a Cavmir guide gets written
Every guide starts as an internal checklist — the working document our team runs on an actual client launch. When the same steps have survived enough launches in enough markets to stop changing, they get written up properly: each step with the reasoning behind it, the mistakes we watched people make, and what to do when a step goes sideways. That is why the guides read like operations manuals instead of essays — they were operations manuals first.
Nothing is held back for the paid version, because there is no paid version. The honest trade is simpler: most readers will execute the playbook themselves and get real results, and the operators who would rather hand it to the team that wrote it become Cavmir clients. Both outcomes are fine with us.
The shelf grows deliberately rather than fast — a guide ships when it is true, not when the calendar says so. The direct-booking playbook and the five-star review system are in writing now. If there is a manual you need that does not exist yet, tell us — the queue is short and operator requests move it.
