About Cavmir

Cavmir is a marketing agency for luxury vacation rentals, boutique hotels and the people who own and manage them. We build direct-booking websites and run SEO, GEO (getting found in AI search), digital PR, content, social media and video for clients in the United States and abroad. We are growing fast and hiring across time zones, so clients get answers in their own business hours.

About this role

Cavmir runs on its own cloud systems: the software behind client websites, reports, dashboards and the automations that do much of our daily work. You will lead their growth, keep them reliable as we scale, and build the team that runs them.

We keep the details of our systems private. Expect to learn them after you join, under a confidentiality agreement.

What you will do

• Own the architecture, reliability and security of Cavmir's cloud systems.
• Plan and ship new systems and features with leadership, from idea to production.
• Set standards for code review, testing, deployment, monitoring and backups.
• Keep costs under control as usage grows.
• Hire, train and lead developers and the Cloud Systems Administrator.
• Write clear documentation so no system depends on one person's memory.

What you need

• Seven or more years building and running production web systems, two or more leading others.
• Strong experience with serverless and cloud platforms, databases and APIs.
• A security-first habit: least access, secrets handled properly, audit trails.
• Clear written English, and the ability to explain technical choices to non-technical leaders.

Nice to have

• Experience building with AI models and automation.
• Background in agencies, media, travel or hospitality technology.

How you will work

• Remote. We hire in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
• Hours: Hours agreed with your manager; most of the work happens in US Eastern business hours.
• Full-time. Contract terms depend on the country you live in.

This role is not for you if

• You want a large, settled team on day one. You will build it.
