MIAMI, Fla. — Aug. 28, 2026 — Cavmir has added AI Search Optimization to its services, a program aimed at getting a vacation rental named and cited when travelers ask AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's AI overviews where to stay.
Trip planning is moving from a page of blue links to a written answer. When a traveler asks an assistant for a quiet beach house near Charleston with a pool, the assistant names a few options and the sources it trusts. Properties that aren't legible to those systems simply don't appear.
The service prepares a property's own website and listings in the structured form these systems read, publishes the facts an assistant needs to answer confidently, and tracks how often the major assistants recommend the property and which sources they cite, then works on those sources.
Cavmir doesn't try to trick the models. The work is the same fundamentals search has always rewarded, accurate, well-structured, genuinely useful information, applied to how assistants read the web.
“The assistants are already answering these questions. The only choice a host has is whether their property is in the answer or left out of it. That's what we work on.”Sanjay Gupta, Head of Technology, Cavmir
AI Search Optimization is available now, on its own or inside Cavmir's monthly Jetstream plans. Details are at cavmir.com/services/ai-search.
