MIAMI, Fla. — Sept. 2, 2026 — Cavmir has launched TrollBuster, a service that reviews and hardens a vacation-rental or boutique-hotel website against the legal complaints that increasingly land in small hospitality inboxes: copyright demands over a photo, accessibility complaints, and privacy or cookie-consent notices.
A single stock photo used without the right license, a contact form without a consent line, or a missing accessibility feature can turn into a demand letter. For an independent host, even an unfounded claim is expensive to answer.
TrollBuster checks a site against the common triggers, fixes what it finds, and adds the pages a modern site is expected to carry: a clear privacy policy, cookie consent, image credits, an accessibility statement, and the disclaimers that keep a brand's marketing honest about who it is and isn't affiliated with.
Cavmir built the service after a copyright demand letter arrived over a single image on its own website. Rather than treat it as a one-off, the agency turned the response into a repeatable checklist and now runs it on every site it builds or manages.
“We got the letter, we fixed the problem, and then we made sure it could never happen to a client on our watch. Every site we ship now goes through the same gate.”Dan Ross, Founder & Creative Director, Cavmir
TrollBuster is available as a standalone review for existing sites and is included on every new website Cavmir builds.
